Submissions

Song Lyrics:  I would like to post song lyrics. If your band has a cool psychedelic lyric and you think you’d like to be part of this scene, please send them along with band info and all copyright info.

Poems:  I am interested in contemporary poetry. I do have a preference for beat, surf, hippie, mod or psychedelic poetry.  Sometimes I am interested in a poem simply because it is about the beat or psychedelic life or just because it sounds cool.  Any subject or style is fine. 

I do not correct spelling or grammar on submissions so make sure your submission is error-free.

Send only original poems that are not posted on the internet. Previous publication is accepted as long as you inform me of the prior publication.  Simultaneous submissions are also accepted so long as I am informed and the other submission is not to an online site

Submit:  Send each poem on a separate email. Please write the title and your name in the subject line. (Otherwise, I might lose it.)  Attach the poem to the body of the email. DO NOT send Word files or any attachments. They will be automatically deleted. 

Please include a cover letter, a short bio, name, and web address so I can post something about you.

Important Notice:  By submitting a poem to this site, you are stating that the poem is your original work and you are agreeing to give first publication rights to this site. (You are agreeing to let me post it on this site only.) You are giving me your permission to publish the poem on one post of this site, all other rights belong to you, the author.
